We have half a million acres of terrain and over 400 established runs in our backyard, giving us the biggest heli ski tenure in Revelstoke. Our guides know every line from alpine bowls to deep glades across our expansive tenure. Our tenure in the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains consistently receives 40 to 60 feet of powder every year. Selkirk Tangiers has been offering heli skiing in Revelstoke since 1978, giving us over 45 years of experience exploring the area.

The Terrain

Our tenure is home to stunning old-growth forests. In key tree zones, we've selectively cleared space between trees to make the skiing flowy and fun—without removing the natural character. You'll need to stay alert, follow your guide's line, and be ready to adapt to the terrain.

Start your day off right with a morning stretch class and retrieve your warm, dry outerwear from the exclusive boot and gear drying room. The Mountain Guides' Lounge provides the ideal, cosy atmosphere for après-ski while the fabulous dining room will delight with a variety of dishes, featuring international and continental cuisine.

Typical 3 day Itinerary

3-Day small group Itinerary – example:

Day 1: Evening: Arrival at the hotel, introduction to your package by our Guest Services team and your guide. Set-up of your skis or snowboard. Dinner at the Hillcrest Hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast, and backcountry safety briefing with your guide and your pilot. First day of heli skiing, with lunch in the mountains. Once back at the hotel, après-ski, relaxation time followed by dinner.
Day 3 + 4: You are flying right after breakfast to enjoy a full day of heli skiing. Lunch in the mountains, après-ski, and dinner at the hotel.
Day 5: Breakfast and end of your heli skiing package with STHS.
