Heli Dreams was founded by me, Marlee Hawkins, a Melbourne-based ski and heli-ski travel specialist with more than a decade of industry experience.
I have travelled to 51 countries and skied at 27 resorts, including 14 across British Columbia and Alberta, and worked in some of the highest-performing environments in luxury travel.
I lived in Canada, working with leading ski and heli-ski operators such as SkiBig3 and Canadian Mountain Holidays (CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures).
Working in sales for one of the world’s largest heli-ski companies gave me a clear understanding of what defines a successful heli-ski experience and how to align guests with the right program from the beginning.
I then spent time living and working at the Bugaboos, the world’s first heli-ski lodge, deep in the Purcell Mountains of British Columbia and accessible only by helicopter.
That experience provided an inside view of how heli-ski operations function — from guiding and safety protocols to group composition, daily structure, logistics, and how terrain, weather, aviation, and pilot coordination shape each day.
